We built this open-frame tool tote around a solid polypropylene base that sets down flat on damp concrete. The walls use dense 1680D Oxford fabric with an internal PE board so the structure stays upright when empty.

Forty-six dedicated pockets line the interior walls and exterior panels to separate drivers, pliers, and bits. It folds down flat when cleared out for storage in a service truck.

What we built into it

Molded Polypropylene Base

A rigid plastic bottom keeps the tote stable and supports loads up to 100 pounds on rough ground. It sheds moisture from wet slabs and protects the lower seams against abrasion from gravel and slag.

Forty-Six Dedicated Slots

Insert pockets wrap all four exterior faces while deep interior sleeves hold meters, wrenches, and hand drivers upright. An internal water-resistant zippered pouch protects loose fasteners, drill bits, and small parts from rust.

Tear-Resistant Oxford Shell

Heavy 1680D polyester fabric with a PVC backing resists punctures and works alongside internal stiffener boards to hold its form. A padded carry handle balances the weight in your grip during long carries across the job.
