How to pack a garment bag so the suit arrives flat

Zip the side panels upward around the loaded central core to form the duffle shape. Your jacket wraps smoothly around the exterior curve rather than folding sharply across the middle seam.
Thick wool and heavy synthetic blends handle this gentle curve without creasing. Natural linen and fine cotton will still pick up soft wrinkles, so hang those garments in the bathroom upon arrival.

Packing oversized boots or thick outerwear pushes the flexible side panels outward and increases the total duffle diameter. Measure your packed bag carefully before you head out the door.
