What goes in the gym bag, and where

Heading to work with your workout gear takes a clear packing plan. We built our court and gym backpacks to keep dirty soles and damp shirts away from work tools. Here is how we load each pocket so your gear stays organized from your morning commute to your evening match.

Shoes load first into the base

Put your court shoes or trainers into the separate bottom tunnel before you pack anything else. This anchors the weight at the base and leaves room above for the main compartment.

Wipe off wet clay or gym floor dust before sliding them inside. Our bottom lining is water-resistant and wipes down fast, but heavy mud can still crowd your interior space.

Protect work tools and small valuables

Slide your laptop into the padded back sleeve next to your spine. Keeping flat electronics against the back panel protects the screen from round water bottles or bulky grip tape.

Drop your keys, badge, and watch into the top zippered pocket. That keeps small items off the bottom of the bag so you can grab them without opening the main cavity at your desk.

Pack dry clothes and court rackets

Stack your work change and sweat towels right above the shoe tunnel. We keep this central compartment wide so you can fold clothes flat without crushing your lunch container.

Slip your tennis or pickleball paddles into the dedicated front racket slot. Secure the handles with the top strap so they do not lean sideways while you walk through the office.

Isolate damp layers after play

Stuff your sweaty shirt and wristbands straight into the lined wet pocket after your game. This barrier stops moisture from reaching your dry work clothes or laptop sleeve on the commute home.

Empty this wet compartment as soon as you get home. The fabric traps damp air well, but clothes will sour if left zipped inside overnight.

The short of it

  • Load shoes first into the bottom pocket to keep dirt and heavy weight away from the rest of your gear.
  • Keep your laptop flat against the back panel to prevent impact from bulky gym items.
  • Lock racket handles with the exterior strap to keep them upright while you walk.
  • Unzip the wet pocket and remove damp workout shirts right after you get home.

Packing in this order keeps your work electronics safe and clean while isolating court sweat. Air out the lined shoe and wet compartments every night so your bag stays fresh for the morning commute.
